ESOx awarded funding to support sMes in cherwell

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Cherwell have a fantastic opportunity to find out how to cut energy bills, reduce carbon emissions, and improve the comfort of their buildings.

Energy Solutions Oxfordshire (ESOx) has secured funding to provide fully funded energy assessments worth at least £1,500 to eligible businesses and organisations within Cherwell District.

Why apply for a free energy assessment?

The expert ESOx team will provide:

  • Insights into where your business can save energy.
  • A prioritised list of energy-saving actions, including low or no-cost options.
  • Cost estimates for recommended measures, alongside projected energy, financial, and carbon savings.
  • Tailored advice on low-carbon technologies, such as solar PV or air source heat pumps.

Additionally, ESOx will stay in touch pointing you to funding opportunities to help implement the recommended measures. Businesses typically save 19% on their energy bills by acting on ESOx’s recommendations.

Who can apply?

This opportunity is open to SMEs (fewer than 250 employees) based in Cherwell District. Applications will be prioritised for businesses ready to take action on energy-saving measures.
