Long Furlong Primary School

Long Furlong Primary School is based in Abingdon, and teaches over 200 primary children. We worked with them to install 114 solar panels on their roof, generating 26,130 kWh of clean electricity every year to help power the school and reduce energy bills. At the same time, the panels help to educate the pupils about climate change, energy, and the role of renewables.

The solar panels were funded as part of a Low Carbon Hub share offer, meaning that parents, staff, and members of the local community had the opportunity to invest, own the panels, and gain interest on the electricity generated and sold.
